The Value of Your Life

This is fascinating:
Your life is worth a certain amount, according to government officials. And if they devalue your life, they may not have to work so hard to keep you safe in regards to "little" stuff, like, o, clean water and air. Check it.

But the question i am always asking, as i steep in the muck of all the rhetoric, is what do i do about all of it? I am an American citizen -- endowed with an inane sense of self-efficacy. So somehow i believe that i can solve problems that come before me. And again with this problem, we go back to food and transport. Grow my own. And pedal with my own two legs. The complex goes back to the simple -- revolutions again and again. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
